Brownlow Charles Colyear was born on 4 August 1796.1 He was the son of Thomas Charles Colyear, 4th Earl of Portmore and Lady Mary Elizabeth Bertie.1 He was baptised on 12 August 1796 at St. Marylebone Church, Marylebone Road, Marylebone, London, England.1 He died in 1819 at Rome, Italy, from injuries received in a fight with bandits.2
