     Beadon Harold Dening was born on 6 September 1923.1 He was the son of Harold Dening and Mabel Winifred Beadon Bryant.1 He married Cynthia Reynolds in 1972.1 He died in 1999.1
     He graduated from Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He was with the Sudan Political Service between 1948 and 1955.1 He was Assistant District Commissioner, Malakal, Upper Nile Province between 1949 and 1950.1 He was Assistant District Commissioner, Nasir, Upper Nile Province between 1951 and 1955.1 He was Administrative Officer with the Colonial Service between 1955 and 1965 at Uganda.1 He was Local Government Advisor between 1966 and 1969 at Swaziland.1
