     Hon. Caroline Penelope Addington was the daughter of William Leonard Addington, 2nd Viscount Sidmouth and Mary Young.2 She married Newdigate Hooper Kearney Burne on 15 September 1853.1 She died on 19 December 1923.1
     From 15 September 1853, her married name became Burne.

     He gained the rank of Colonel in 1898 in the Royal Field Artillery.1 He fought in the Boer War in 1901.1 He fought in the First World War.1
