     Mary Lilias Kirkpatrick was the daughter of Sir James Kirkpatrick of Closeburn, 4th Bt. and unknown daughter Jardine.² She died in 1898, unmarried.¹

     James Kirkpatrick was the son of Sir Thomas Kirkpatrick of Closeburn, 5th Bt. and Jane Kirkpatrick Sharpe.² He died before 1844, without issue.¹
     He gained the rank of Midshipman in the Royal Navy.¹

     Sir Charles Sharpe Kirkpatrick of Closeburn, 6th Bt. was born in May 1811.¹ He was the son of Sir Thomas Kirkpatrick of Closeburn, 5th Bt. and Jane Kirkpatrick Sharpe.² He married Helen Stuart Kirk, daughter of Thomas Kirk, on 24 March 1837.¹ He died on 9 October 1867 at age 56.¹
     He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Kirkpatrick, of Closeburn [N.S., 1685] in 1844.¹

     Valerie Rose Mills was the daughter of James Mills.¹ She married Donald Arthur Kirkpatrick, son of Charles Bartram Kirkpatrick and Lilian Podd, in 1990.¹ She and Donald Arthur Kirkpatrick were divorced in 2002.¹
     From 1990, her married name became Kirkpatrick.¹

     Margaret Craig was the daughter of John Craig.¹ She married John Cochran.¹
     Her married name became Cochran.¹

     Mary Ferguson married James Stevenson.¹
     Her married name became Stevenson.¹

     Peter Holland Jenkins married Tarn de la Fargue Wycliffe Bartholomew, daughter of Major John Legh Wycliffe Bartholomew, before 1995.² He died on 1 January 1995.²

     Charlotte Kirkpatrick was the daughter of Sir Thomas Kirkpatrick of Closeburn, 5th Bt. and Jane Kirkpatrick Sharpe.² She married Henry Burn.¹ She died in October 1892.¹
     Her married name became Burn.
