     Jenny Remington was born circa 1858 at U.S.A.1 She was the daughter of Samuel Remington and Flora Ann Carver.1 She married William Pretyman, son of Reverend John Radclyffe Pretyman and Amelia Tindal, in 1883.1
     From 1883, her married name became Pretyman.1

     Air Vice-Marshal John Gerald Franks was born on 23 May 1905.1 He was the son of James Gordon Franks and Margaret FitzGibbon.1 He married Jessica Rae West, daughter of Donald William West, on 1 August 1936.1 He died on 23 September 1995 at age 90.2
     He was educated at Cheltenham College, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, EnglandG.1 He was educated at Royal Air Force College, Cranwell, Lincolnshire, EnglandG.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He was awarded the Commander, U.S. Legion of Merit.1 He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1949.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1954.1 He was President of the Ordnance Board between 1959 and 1960.1 He retired from the military in 1960, with the rank of Air Vice-Marshal.1 He lived in 1976 at The Old Glebe, Templesanto, Ferns, County Wexford, IrelandG.1
