Horace Pitt-Rivers, 6th Baron Rivers of Sudeley Castle1

     Horace Pitt-Rivers, 6th Baron Rivers of Sudeley Castle was born on 12 April 1814.1 He was the son of Horace William Pitt-Rivers, 3rd Baron Rivers of Sudeley Castle and Frances Rigby.1,2 He married Emmeline Laura Bastard, daughter of John Pollexfen Pownall Wade Bastard and Anna Esther Ricarda, in 1873 at Chelsea, London, England.3 He died on 31 March 1880 at age 65, without issue.1
     He succeeded as the 6th Baron Rivers of Sudeley Castle on 15 March 1867.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Horse Guards.1
