     Reverend John fitz Thomas, 12th Knight of Glin was the son of Thomas fitz Philip, 10th Knight of Glin and Mary FitzMaurice.2 He died after March 1541.1
     He held the office of Canon of Limerick.1 He held the office of Archdeacon of Limerick in August 1501.1 He succeeded as the 12th Knight of Glin in 1503.1
