Joseph Lister, 1st and last Baron Lister was born on 5 April 1827.1 He was the son of Joseph Jackson Lister and Isabella Harris.1 He married Agnes Syme, daughter of James Syme, on 23 April 1856.1 He died on 10 February 1912 at age 84, without issue.1
