     Hon. Elliot Constantine Yorke was born on 13 July 1843.2 He was the son of Admiral Charles Philip Yorke, 4th Earl of Hardwicke and Hon. Susan Liddell.2 He married Annie Rothschild, daughter of Sir Anthony Nathan Rothschild, 1st Bt. and Louisa Montefiore, on 12 February 1873.1 He died on 21 December 1878 at age 35, without issue.2
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Cambridgeshire Militia.2 He was Equerry to HRH The Duke of Edinburgh.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Cambridgeshire.2 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Cambridgeshire.2
