     Alexander Gordon was born in 1698.1 He was the son of Charles Gordon and Margaret Duff.1 He married Jane Helen Ogilvie in 1721.1 He died in 1745, killed in action.1
     Alexander Gordon fought in the Battle of Fontenoy in 1745.1
