Captain Francis Walter Montagu Douglas Scott was born on 5 March 1860.1 He was the son of Lord Walter Charles Montagu Douglas Scott and Anna Maria Cradock-Hartopp.1 He married, firstly, Katherine Charlotte Portal, daughter of Melville Portal and Lady Charlotte Mary Elliot-Murray-Kynynmound, on 16 April 1896.1 He married, secondly, Ethelreda Marjory Bridges, daughter of Reverend Thomas Lane Coulson Bridges and Catharine Eva Stuart, on 25 May 1929.1 He died on 5 January 1942 at age 81, without issue.1
