     Marie de France was born in 1198. She was the daughter of Philippe II Auguste, Roi de France and Agnes de Méranie, Princess of Méranie. She married, firstly, Philip I de Namur, Comte de Namur in 1210.1 She married, secondly, Henri I de Brabant, Duc de Brabant, son of Godefroi III de Louvain, Duc de Basse-Lorraine and Margaret de Limbourg, in 1213.1 She died in 1223/24.1
