     Edward Clifton-Brown was born on 10 February 1870.1 He was the son of James Clifton Brown and Amelia Rowe.1 He married Dora Winifred Hanbury, daughter of George Hanbury and Mary Trotter, on 21 July 1897.1 He died on 1 November 1944 at age 74.1
     He was given the name of Edward Clifton Brown at birth.1 On 1 February 1923 his name was legally changed to Edward Clifton-Brown by Deed Poll.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Buckinghamshire in 1936.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Buckinghamshire.1 He lived at Burnham Grove, Burnham, Buckinghamshire, EnglandG.1
