Alison Weir states that Alice Perrers was the mistress of Edward and that her husband was indeed William de Windsor. Perhaps where the only children are illegitimate because there is no marriage (which is likely to be clear from your database?) this could be explicitly stated. At first glance this looks like an error, which it is not.

I do try to indicate where the children are illegitimate that this is the case.
In this case, all of Alice Perrers are listed as 'illegitimate'.
