Anyone knows something about the rank that was held by the Kovats nobel family in hungary.....i have found some informations about when they received the letter of nobility (Faber Ferrarius Dictus Kovach Regis) in 1331. I am allso looking for their coat of arms which they received in 1488. they held very important positions in the middle ages:

deputy master of the royal cavalry
supervisor of the royal gold mines
etc
