Princess Kira-Melita zu Leiningen died at London on 24 September 2005.
[She was born at Coburg on 18 July 1930, daughter of Karl Fürst zu Leiningen and of his wife, née Grand Duchess maria Kirillovna of Russia. From 1963 to 1972 she was married to Prince Andrej of Yugoslavia. She is survived by two sons and a daughter.]

Prince Karl-Emich zu Leiningen (son of Emich Fürst zu Leiningen [himself the son of Karl Fürst zu Leiningen and of his wife, née Grand Duchess Marie of Russia] and of his wife, née Duchess Eilika of Oldenburg [herself the daughter of Hereditary Grand Duke Nikolaus of Oldenburg and of his wife, née Princess Helene of Waldeck und Pyrmont]) married, as his third wife, Isabel Gráfin von und zu Egloffstein (daughter of Albrecht Heinrich Graf von und zu Egloffstein and of his wife, née Iniga Gräfin von der Recke von Volmerstein [herself the daughter of Gert Graf von der Recke von Volmerstein and of his wife, née Ursula Gräfin zu Pappenheim]) in a civil ceremony at Amorbach on 8 September 2007. A religious wedding ceremony will follow at Pappenheim on 7 June 2008.
