Colonel Peter Charles Ormrod,MC (1951), who died 2 September, 2007, aged 85, was b 31 Aug 1922, at Pen-y-an North Wales, son of Maj James Ormrod (d 1945), of Pen-y-Lan, Denbighshire; educated at Harrow; married 1952, the Hon Barbara FitzRoy, 4th daughter of the 2nd Viscount Daventry; 2 daughters; Career: ->served with Scots Guards, 1941-47 (NW Europe 1945); served in th Korean Campaign 1951; 4 Battalion, Royal Welch Fusiliers, 1958-63; Master, Border Counties (NW) Otter Hounds, 1950-56; JP (1958) Denbighshire, High Sheriff, 1962; Director, Welsh Board of Abbey National Building Soc; managing Director, Flintshire Woodlands Ltd; address: Pen-y-Lan, Ruabon, Wrexham, Denbighshire. He died 2 September, 2007

A. Cassia Smith-Bingham (nee Murray Threipland), wife of Hugo C. Smith-Bingham, scion of the LG family of that name, gave birth to a daughter, Isabella Grace, 17 November, 2006.

Hugo is the youngest son of Mr Charles Smith-Bingham (b. 1931) (of Smith-Bingham of Mickleton Manor) and Mrs Jennifer Smith-Bingham & Cassia is the daughter of Mr Stuart Wyndham (Tertius) Murray Threipland and Mrs Belinda Mary (Min) Murray Threipland, (b. 1942). Cassia is a granddaughter maternally of the late Maj. Anthony Dermot Melloney Musker, by his wife, the Hon. Mary Angela FitzRoy, (b. 1919), daughter of the 2nd Viscount Daventry, descended from Charles FitzRoy, 3rd Baron Southampton, and from Charles FitzRoy, 2nd Duke of Grafton, grandson of King Charles II by Barbara Villiers, Duchess of
Cleveland, &c.

ST GEORGE HEDLEY
On January 21st 2010, Arthur James, aged 9, after a brave battle.
Beloved son of James and Alice, adored brother of Barbar, Lilly and
Minnie. The Funeral has already taken place. Donations, if wished, to
CLIC Sargent, 44a High Street, Henley-in-Arden B95 5AN.

He was the only son of Alice Amelia WARD (b 1964) gd of 2nd Viscount
Daventry and Grace Zoe (scion of the Guinness Bts) and (Roger) James
ST GEORGE HEDLEYand is survived by his parents and three older sisters.

HEDLEY
Roger St George, Major, peacefully on 1st October aged 82. Much loved
husband of Myra, devoted father and grandada and loving brother to
Cilla. Private Cremation, Thanksgiving Service at the Blessed Mary of
Boyton, BA12 0SS at 2 p.m. on Monday 25th October. No flowers.
He was the father of (Roger) James St George HEDLEY who m Alice Amelia
ORMROD (b 1964) gd of 2nd Viscount DAVENTRY and Grace Zoe (scion of
the GUINNESS Bts).

The engagement was announced in July 2012 between Robert Murray Threipland, scion of that landed family, younger son of Mr (Stuart) Wyndham Murray Threipland, of Dunbeath, Caithness, and Mrs Belinda Murray Threipland, of Ardfern, Argyll, and Martina Elizabetta, yr d. of Sgr & Sgra Adrea Cortesi of Italy. Mrs Belinda Murray Threipland is a descendant of the Merrie Monarch Charles II, daughter of Maj (Anthony) Dermot Melloney Musker by his wife the former Hon Mary Angela FitzRoy, dau of the 2nd Viscount Daventry.
