Edith Hoare (nee Temple), who died 19 July, 2005, at the age of 92, was the widow of Capt. Julian Hoare, RAOC, a scion of the Hoare of Stourton BLG family. She was the former Edith Temple, 3rd daughter of Colonel Frederck Charles Temple, CIE, CBE, VD, of Lewes, Sussex (of that BLG family), and married in 1933. She was the mother of a son, Rupert, and four daughters, Rosamond, Elizabeth, Angela and Frances.

The Hon. Eleanor Filumema Hoare (born 1973, nee Flower), wife of Charles James Hoare (b. 15 Mar 1971), gave birth to a son, Edward Harry William, 13 February, 2006.

Charles is the only son of Sir Timothy Hoare, 8th Baronet, and Lady Hoare, and Eleanor is the only daughter of the 11th Viscount Ashbrookand Viscountess Ashbrook.

Victoria Hoare Nairne (nee Lynne), wife of Charles V.S. Hoare Nairne, gave birth to a daughter, Octavia, 12 January, 2007, a sister for Lilias, who was b. 15 September, 2005. Mrs Hoare Nairne is a daughter of Mr & Mrs George Lynne, and Charles is a son of the late Victor Hoare Nairne, a descendant of Brig-Gen. Edward Spencer Nairne, CB, CMG, DL (1869-1958), by his wife Lilias Frances Matilda Stafford O'Brien Hoare, scion of the Hoare banking dynasty. The Brig-Gen was a grandson of John Marshall, Lord Curriehill.

I have discovered that the lady threw the javelin and was 4th in the 1927 British Championships at a venerable age for athletics.

Does any one know when was she born/died etc please?

Sir Timothy Hoare OBE, 8th Baronet, of Annabella Co. Cork died 18 January 2008, aged 73. He is survived by his wife Felicity, o d. of Peter
Boddington. Heir s. Charles James Hoare b.1971.
