Janet Mary Riou Benson, formerly of Affcot Hall, Church Stretton, Salop, scion of the BLG family of Benson formerly of Lutwyche, died at home, 19 January, 2005, aged 89.

She was the elder daughter of Capt. Francis Riou Benson (1874-1946), Shropshire Yeomanry, by his wife Susan Lambert Black.

Funeral on Friday, 28th January at The Church of the Holy Trinity, Wistanstow, Shropshire at 2 p.m. No flowers please, but donations to Hope Bowdler and Wistanstow Churches.
