Sir Valentine Robert Duff Abdy, 6th Baronet died 27 June 2012. He was born 11 September, 1937, son of Sir Robert Henry Edward Abdy, 5th Bt (1896-1976), by his 2nd wife, the former Lady (Helen) Diana Bridgeman (d 1967), daughter of the 5th Earl of Bradford; married 1971 (div 1982) Mathilde, dau of Etienne Coche de la Ferte, by whom he had a son, Robert Etienne Eric, born 22 Feb 1978, who now succeeds as 7th Baronet (cr Baronet UK, 1850).

Funeral service at the église Sainte-Eugénie at Marnes-la-Coquette, France, on 5 July 2012.
