Lady Harford, who died 9 December, 2006, aged 99, was the 2nd wife, and widow, of Sir James Dundas Harford, KBE, CMG (1899-1993), British diplomat, sometime Governor & Commander-in-Chief of St Helena.
She was the former Lilias Madeleine Campbell, eldest daughter of Maj. Archibald Campbell, and married Sir James, a widower, in 1937, by whom she had 2 daughters.
Her husband's previous wife (whom he married 14 Mar 1932) was Countess Thelma Alberta Louisa Evelyne Mextá, who had died in 1934. She was widowed, 26 Nov, 1993. The funeral takes place at Holy Trinity Church, Westcott, near Dorking, 5 January, 2007.

_.Sir Timothy Harford, Bt, died 22 Aug, 2010. He was 78. The baronetcy
(UK) was created in 1934. He was born 6 Jul 1932, and succeeded his
father, Sir George Arthur Harford, in 1967; married 1962, Carolyn
Jane, dau of Brig Guy John de Wette Mullens, OBE, by whom he had
issue. The elder on his 2 sons, Mark John, b 6 Aug 1964, now succeeds
to the baronetcy. Thanksgiving service at All Saints' Church, Evesham,
Thurs 23 Sept 2010.

Piers Scandrett Harford, who died 16 March, 2012, aged 74, was a scion of the Harford Baronets (cr UK, 1934). He was born 9 Sept, 1937, 2nd son of Sir George Arthur Harford, 2nd Baronet, by his wife the former Anstice Marion Tritton, dau of Sir Alfred Tritton, 2nd Baronet; married 22 Jul 1961 (div 1972), Hyacinthe Cecilia, eldest dau of Lt-Col Nigel Walter Hoare, OBE, TD, by whom he had issue, a son, Henry (b 1963) and a daughter, Charlotte, b 1965); married 2ndly, 1975, Patricia Jane Burnett, by whom he had a son, William (b 1976).
